South Jersey Pair Arrested On Multiple Drug-Dealing Charges: Prosecutor

A pair of men from Cape May County has been arrested on multiple drug-dealing charges, authorities said.

Yenmarie Soto-Maldonado, 35,  and Miguel Rivera, 32, both residing in the Villas section of Lower Township are accused of distributing narcotics, they said. 

On April 13, the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office Gangs, Guns, and Narcotics Task Force concluded narcotics investigation into the distribution of cocaine throughout Cape May County, according to Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey H. Sutherland and Chief Kevin Lewis.

The target of this investigation was Yenmarie Soto-Maldonado and Miguel Rivera, they said. 

The Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office, the Cape May County Sheriff’s Office, the Lower Township Police Department, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) along with the assistance of the Cape May County Regional SWAT team made warranted searches at the residence of Yenmarie Soto-Maldonado, in the 100 East block of Wilde Avenue.

Approximately three ounces of cocaine, over 600 prescription pills, were seized, they said. The street value for this seizure is approximately $7,500.

Soto-Maldonado and Rivera were charged with multiple drug offenses, they said.
